Notification for Rajasthan PTET 2024 has been released by Vardhman Mahavir Open University (VMOU) on 5 March 2024 on the official website. The application process for PTET 2024 has also been announced simultaneously. For this, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online through the official website from March 6, 2024 to March 31, 2024. Rajasthan PTET 2024 Exam Date will be held on 9 June 2024.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Application Fees

To apply for Rajasthan PTET 2024, you will have to pay the application fee. The application fee has been kept the same for all categories at ₹ 500, you will have to deposit the application fee online.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Educational Qualification

To apply for Rajasthan PTET 2024, eligible candidates must have completed Graduation or Post Graduation with 50% marks for general categories from a recognized institute. SC ST, OBC, and other categories must graduate with minimum 45% marks .

For the 4-year BA/BSc.BEd program, candidates should have completed their Intermediate exam with Science or Arts stream. Reservation details for 4 years BA/BSc.BEd (Integrated) and 2 years BEd courses in various government and private colleges of Rajasthan are as follows:

  • Scheduled Castes: 16%
  • Scheduled Tribes: 12%
  • Other Backward Classes: 21%
  • Most Backward Classes: 5%
  • Physically challenged: 5%
  • In-service or Ex-serviceman defense personnel or for his/her ward (only Air Force, Army, and Navy): 5%
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10%
  • Women (out of which 8% seats are reserved for widows and 2% for divorced women): Rules of Govt. of Rajasthan

200 MCQ based questions with 3 marks each will be given to students to be completed in 3 Hours. Below is the section wise distribution of the question for PTET 2024 Exam.The question paper of Rajasthan PTET 2024 will be set in both Hindi and English.

Mental Ability: The Mental Ability section will consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions to test the following abilities:

Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test: The Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test section will consist of 50 questions mainly in the following areas:

This will be a test of attitude and awareness consisting of answers to questions 3, 2, . And will be given on a scale of 0.

(1) Current Affairs (National and International), (2) Indian History and Culture; (3) India and its natural resources (4) Great Indian personalities (past and
present), (5) Environmental awareness, (6) Knowledge about Rajasthan, etc.

Language Proficiency (Hindi or English): The Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) section will consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions regarding proficiency in Hindi or English language mainly relating to the following aspects:
(1) Vocabulary, (2) Functional Grammar, (3) Sentence Structures, (4) Comprehension, etc.
