Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule for the Pakistan Super League Schedule 2024. First game of PSL will be played on 17th February, 2024 and the final game of PSL is scheduled on 18th March, 2024 at the National Bank Stadium.

Setting rest to a month long speculation of cricket fans for the 9th season of Pakistan Super League is going to begin on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Six teams are going to compete in PSL 2024 with a total of 34 matches played till 18th of March 2024. The 4 venues are decided across Pakistan in which Karachi will be hosting the maximum number of matches. Other venues are at Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi with Karachi hosting 11 games, Lahore and Rawalpindi 9 games while Multan will be hosting 5 matches. PSL Format & Teams 2024

In the league stage, there will be 10 double round-robin matches in which each team will participate. The first match of PSL 2024 will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United on February 17.

 There will be a knockout stage of the tournament with the first qualifier match played on 14th of March 2024. After that on March 15th and 16th the Eliminators will be played following the grand final two days later. The first elimination will be played between two clubs, who won third and fourth in the league stage. 

In the whole 9th season of PSL 2024 6 double-headers matches will be played. The first double-header is set to play on 18th February between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators after the next match will be played between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans. The winner of the game will play against the loser of the qualifier to reach the summit match. PSL 2024 teams are mentioned below:

PSL 2024 Player Lineup 

Teams are permitted to have a squad of up to 18 players, with a minimum requirement of 16 players. The lineup consists of:

– Triple Platinum
– Triple Diamond
– Three Gold
– Five Silver
– Two new players
– Two additional players (optional)

In the initial nine selections, teams can choose a maximum of three foreign players. The 16-player roster comprises five international competitors and eleven local team members.

The 18-player squad must have either twelve local players and six international players, or thirteen local players and five foreign players. The playing 11 roster can include a maximum of four foreign players.
