In Akbar’s rule the Acharya of Ballabha Kul Sect Gokul Nath ji installed the idol of deity at the location. Every year after Dhulandi or Badi Holi pilgrims come in thousands of numbers in buses to play and watch the Holi. Holi is considered as the most important festival for Balrama ji (elder brother of Lord Krishna).
