The government has started Yuva Nidhi Yojana in Karnataka to provide financial assistance to those youth who are educated completed their education have their education degree or diploma certificate. This scheme was started by Rahul Gandhi in 2022.

The state government launched the Yuva Nidhi Yojana Scheme in Karnataka. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on December 26 launched the registration of the fifth and last pool guarantee ‘Yuva Nidhi’ in Bengaluru offering financial assistance to educated youth and diploma holders who are unemployed. 

The day of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, January 12, is National Youth Day, and that is when the government started giving out allowances. The state government of Karnataka created the Yuva Nidhi Scheme, an admirable attempt to improve the economic prospects of young people without jobs but with education.


The registration of this scheme starts on December 26 and the government has been allotted Rs 250 crores for this scheme.

Yuva Nidhi scheme Assistance Amount 

 In this scheme, the government will provide the following amount to the unemployed in Karnataka who completed their education or completed their diploma in 2022-23

  • Rs 3000 per month to unemployed graduates 
  • Rs 1500 per month to diploma pass-out youth

The government will give this amount after 6 months of the youths passing out and becoming unemployed. However, after 2 years, the government will not provide financial assistance, so as soon as find a job within two years.

Under this scheme, eligible youths will receive financial assistance directly in their bank  account through a Direct Bank Account (DBT) 


Yuva Nidhi Scheme Eligibility

  • The applicants must be Karantaka Residents.
  • The applicants must have passed their degree or completed diploma courses in the academic year 2022-2023
  • The applicants must not have a job six months after completing their degrees or diplomas.
  • The benefits of this scheme will not be given to the youths who are already getting benefits from similar schemes or programs.
  • The applicants who have enrolled for their higher education, those getting apprentice salaries, and those working in the private or government sector are not eligible.
  • Aadhar must be linked to the applicant’s bank account to benefit from this scheme.

Yuva Nidhi Scheme Ineligibility

  • Those youth who continue his/her higher education after passing graduation or diploma. 
  • Beneficiary of apprentice wages
  • Youth employed in government or private sector.
  • Self-employed youth.
  • Beneficiary of other government financial assistance schemes.

Yuva Nidhi Scheme Application Registration Process

Eligible applicants have to register themselves on the Seva Sindhu website to avail the benefits of the Yuva Nidhi scheme. Registration can be done online or offline, the government has not released the registration forms yet.

2. Click on the ‘Yuva Nidhi Yojana’ option.


3. Select ‘ click here to apply.

4. Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.

5. Click the ‘Submit button to receive an acknowledgment number.
