Vande Bharat Express is a semi-high-speed train in the Indian Railways. It is also known as Train 18 and was launched in 2019 by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Currently, this train operates on345 routes, with 3 operating from New Delhi and there are about 160 Vande Bharat Express trains available in the Indian Railways. As it is a semi-high-speed train, it runs at the speed of 130 km/hr. 

Vande Bharat Express was designed and specified by the Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO).

  • On the webpage, fill in the details like From(where you want to depart), To (Your designation), Classes, Ticket categories, date, etc. and click on search.
  • Now, From the list of available trains, select the Vande Bharat Express.
  • You also need to log in to the IRCTC website to book the train. Log in to your existing account or create a new one with your mobile number.
  • After selecting Vande Bharat Express, select your coach like Executive or Chair Car and check seat availability.
  • If a seat is available, provide the required passenger details.
  • Now, make the payment by choosing any of these credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, etc.) and complete the transaction.
