A final notice is released by the RRB for the RRB Technician Grade 3 and Grade 1 Signal post Recruitment. The online application process has been started from the 9th March 2024.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
All candidates are required to check carefully the eligibility criteria for the RRB Technician Post. The educational Qualification required is as follows:

RRB Technician Age Limit:
According to the RRB notification, the minimum age limit is 18 years. The maximum age limits for both Posts are given below:
The maximum age for Technician Grade 1 Signal Posts is 18 to 36 years.
- The maximum age limit for Technician Grade 3 posts is 18 to 33 years.
- There is a provision in Age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.
RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The RRB Technician Recruitment Selection process contains 3 levels or stages as following:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The first stage includes a Computer Based Rest which is conducted at various exam centres set by RRB. The Paper contains 100 questions in which one mark will be rewarded for each question. Candidates should know that there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer.
- Document Verification: The second stage or lever for the recruitment process is documentation. All original documents of the applicant are verified and assessed thoroughly to make sure eligibility and legitimacy of the candidates.
- Medical Examination: The third and the final stage of the recruitment process is Medical Examination. All candidates selected in the documentation are called for the Medical Examination which is conducted by the Railway Board. This is to ensure the medical fitness of the candidates so that they can carry on with the duties given to them efficiently for the selected post.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Document Verification
The last stage of RRB Technician Process 2024 includes a medical fitness test after the documentation process. During the document verification stage all candidates need to present all relevant original documents for assessment. Following documents are required to present:
- Documents verifying Date of Birth like a matriculation/Secondary School Leaving Certificate/SSC/X Standard Marks card.
- Educational Qualification Certificate with mark sheets for all years/semesters
- Experience/Service Certificate (if applicable), on the organisation’s letterhead, detailing the area of experience, period of service, post held and gross emoluments, duly certified by the organisation.
- Caste/category Certificate (if applicable, for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates) in the authorised format.
- Disability Certificate (if applicable for PwBD candidates) in the authorised format from the Authority/Medical Board.
- Discharge Certificate & Ex-Servicemen ID Card (if applicable for Ex-servicemen).
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the boss of the candidates employed with Central/State Govt./Quasi Govt. offices/Public Sector Undertakings, Public Sector Banks/Autonomous Bodies.
