Ved Lahoti from the IIT Delhi zone is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL). He scored 355 out of 360 marks. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone is the top-ranked female candidate with a CRL of 7. She scored 332 out of 360 marks.
Last year, Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy from the IIT Hyderabad zone was the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL). He scored 341 out of 360 marks. Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree from the IIT Hyderabad zone was the top-ranked female candidate with a CRL of 56. She scored 298 out of 360 marks.

Ved Lahoti Secures AIR 1, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel Female Topper
IIT Madras has released the JEE Advanced 2024 topper list. Ved Lahoti, from the IIT Delhi zone, secured the top position with a remarkable score of 355 out of 360 marks. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel, from the IIT Bombay zone, emerged as the female topper with a score of 332 out of 360 marks. A total of 1,80,200 candidates appeared for the exam, including 1,39,180 male candidates and 41,020 female candidates.
How is the JEE Advanced 2024 Result Prepared?
The authorities have prepared the JEE Advanced 2024 result using the following process:
- Calculating Subject Marks:
- The marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be summed individually. This means that the marks a candidate secures in Physics in both papers will be combined to determine their total marks in Physics. The same method will be applied for Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Aggregate Marks Calculation:
- The authorities will calculate the total aggregate marks for each candidate by summing the individual subject marks obtained in JEE Advanced 2024.
- Rank Allocation:
- Based on the aggregate scores, candidates will be assigned their JEE Advanced 2024 ranks. Candidates must appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 to be eligible for inclusion in the common rank list (CRL).
