 The political structure of Andhra Pradesh is dominated by Regional parties even star parties like BJP failed to secure a single Lok Sabha seat in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Now the majority parties have released the name of the candidates on the 25 Lok Sabha Seats of Andhra Pradesh. Before we get to their name it is important that we understand the polity of Andhra Pradesh.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP):
TDP is one of the oldest and most popular parties in Andhra Pradesh. Lok Sabha election 2024 TDP is going to join hands with BJP to secure a good amount of seats in this general election. If we call the election results of 2019 we would find the TDP lost a strong hold to the YSRCP and only managed to win 3 Lok Sabha seats out of 25.
