  1. Visit National Voters Service Portal (NVSP)
  2. Click on ‘Sign Up’ visible on the homepage
  3. Enter the mobile number, email ID and captcha, then click on continue
  4. Enter the first name, last name, password, and confirm password, then click on ‘Request OTP’
  5. Enter the OTP sent to the registered email ID and phone number, then click on ‘Verify’
  6. Now login into the voters’ services portal by clicking the ‘Login’ button. 
  7. Enter your mobile number and password and capture, then click on the ‘Request OTP’ button
  8. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number, then click on ‘Verify and Login’
  9. Select the ‘Fill Form’ option under the new registration for general electros tab 
  10. Enter all the details in ‘Form 6’
  11. Upload all the relevant documents given in the section in ‘Form 6’
  12.  Then click on ‘Preview and Submit’
  13.  Check whether the details are filled in correctly or if there is a mismatch. Then click on ‘Submit’



Steps for Offline Apply

Steps to follow when applying for a voter ID card via offline method:

  1. Applicant should visit the nearest State Election Office and request ‘Form 6’
  2. Fill ‘Form 6’ with all the necessary details and provide all the supporting documents 
  3. Submit the filled ‘Form 6’ with the supporting documents, such as identity proof, address proof, etc., to the respective selection office
  4. Upon the verification of the form Voter ID Card will be issued.


Steps for Semi-Online apply

Steps to follow when applying for voter ID via semi-online method:

  1. Applicant  should visit the National Voter Service Portal (NVSP)
  2. Download the Form 6
  3. Fill out the Form with  all the necessary details
  4. Submit Form 6 along with the photo and supporting documents at the nearest election office

Upon all the necessary verification of documents with the form submitted, voter ID card will be issued to the respective citizen.
