Patna Sahid is a newly founded one of the 40 constituencies of Bihar. It was once a single-unit constituency which later, in 2008 was divided into two independent units of constituencies, the other one being Pataliputra constituency. It has six assembly segments in total- Bakhtiarpur, Digha, Bankipur, Kumhrar, Patna Sahid and Fatuha.
Patna Sahid is also known as the storeroom of Bihar’s rich Cultural Heritage and high political spirit.
