Online registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 will start today on 25th April 2024 at 5PM on the official website of JEE Advance at jeeadv.ac.in. This year IIT Madras is going to conduct and manage the JEE advanced 2024 examination. According to the recent updates by IIT Madras the last date to fill the online application form for JEE Advance 2024 is 7th May 2024. Candidates who aspire to join the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) should fill the application form on time. Earlier the application process was going to start on 21st April 2024 but due to some delays now it will start from today. The exam will be conducted on 26th May 2024.Â

IIT JEE Advanced 2024 Overview
The IIT Madras is going to release the online application forms for IIT JEE Advanced 2024 today on the official website. The last date to apply for the JEE advanced is 7th May 2024. Candidates are advised to fill the form on time and don’t leave it to fill on the last date. Candidates should read the notification PDF thoroughly before applying. The JEE Advanced examination will be conducted in two shifts; first-9 AM to 12 PM and second -2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. JEE Advanced 2024 Eligibility Criteria:-
2. Age limit: Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999. SC, ST, and PwD candidates receive an age relaxation of five years, meaning they should be born on or after October 1, 1994.
3. Number of attempts: Candidates can attempt JEE (Advanced) up to two times within two consecutive years. Those attempting JEE Advanced 2024 for the first time can also sit for JEE Advanced 2025.
4. Class XII exam appearance: Candidates who completed Class 12 in 2023 or 2024 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2024. Those who first took the Class XII (or equivalent) exam in 2022 or earlier are NOT eligible for JEE (Advanced) 2024, regardless of the subjects they took.
5. Prior admission to IITs: Candidates must not have been previously admitted to an IIT, whether or not they remained in the program or accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” or at a “reporting centre” in the past.
