House of Dragon Season 2 Trailer Released: Civil War for Iron Throne

Warner Bros released the trailer of the House of Dragon season 2 web series on Tuesday, 14 May. The series is based on the novel by George R.R. Martin,’ Fire & Blood’. The show will stream on Netflix soon. This is the prequel series of the Game of Thrones series, which broke many bars in entertainment. The story is about seven kingdoms and their tussle to get the iron throne using politics, power and cheating. House of Dragon season 2 will cover a civil war and a huge battle for the Iron Throne within the House Targaryen. It will be an eight-episode season and viewers can watch it on the Netflix OTT platform. The premiere will be held on June 16. After the release of the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power by Amazon, Warner Bros released this stir-setting trailer.

Who will win, Team Green or Team Black?

 

This civil war in the show is better Rhaenyra Targaryen and the king’s firstborn son, Aegon Targaryen. It is based on George RR Martin’s novel Fire & Blood in which this war is written in detail. The storyline of the show is known as the Dance of the Dragons which denotes the Targaryen family fighting against each other. Blacks are Daemon and Rhaenyra Targaryen’s followers while the Greens are supporters of King Aegon II. Rhaenyra  plans an invasion of King’s Landing with Daemon to claim the Iron Throne. The Green, loyal to Aegon, confronts a defense. Trailer is full of Political drama and war with a sky filled with dragons and their fire.

The show will release on HBO on June 19, 2024.

The series’s premiere in June. It will be available on HBO. The storyline took place nearly 200 years before the Game of Thrones story. The first season premiered in 2022 August. Stars who will appear again are Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham and Abubakar Salim, Gayle Rankin, Freddie Fox and Simon Russell Beale are joining as new members in the series. The first season of House of the Dragon was launched in August 2022. It gained outstanding ratings for HBO.

 

‘House Targaryen’

The House of the Dragon storyline is nearly 200 years older than the Game of Thrones timeline. It describes the tussle for Iron Throne within House Targaryen and the start of the civil war within the house.
