As of right now, the Supreme Court has not set a date for the inquiry into the sighting of the Shawwal crescent.



Saudi Arabia Finds the Eid Holiday on This Date

All personnel in the public and private sectors, as well as those attending schools and universities, are granted an official holiday on Eid al-Fitr. As per the official announcement, the government sector will observe the Eid al-Fitr holiday from the twenty-fourth of Ramadan to the 5th of Shawwal next year. Meanwhile, the private sector will commence its leave on the twenty-ninth of Ramadan. It just continues for 4 days.
