CSIR NET 2024 Notification out

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the application form for the CSIR NET exam 1 June 2024 session. The CSIR NET Application Form 2024 notification was announced by CSIR NTA on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. The CSIR NTA conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) twice a year in June and December months. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research organises the National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) and Lecturer positions in various institutions across India. CSIR NET 2024 Overview

The National Testing Agency (NTA) and Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) are going to conduct the National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) in June 2024. The exam is conducted by the Council of Science and Industrial Research (CSIR) which is a body under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The agency started the application process on 1st May 2024. CSIR NET 2024 Important Dates

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is going to conduct the NET exam on June 25, 26, and 27, 2024 for various disciplines like chemical Sciences, mathematics, physical Sciences, earth sciences etc. This exam is to recruit assistant professors or to get admission to PhD courses across India. National Testing Agency (NTA) collaborates with the CSIR to manage and conduct the NET exam every year. The Application Form process for NET 2024 is out from May 1, 2024.   • Visit the official website of CSIR NET on csirnet.nta.
  • On the home page find the length CSIR NET notification 2024. 
  • Click on this link time register yourself using your email address and mobile number. 
  • After registration, start filling out the online form. 
  • Enter your basic details, educational qualifications and other details that are asked. 
  • Upload required documents in valid format as prescribed in the official notification such as passport size photo, signature and marksheets. 
  • Now pay the application fee using online payment methods like credit cards, debit cards etc. 
  • After the verification submit the form.

 Candidates answer 15 questions (2 marks each)

 Total marks: 30 out of 200

Assesses teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking, and general awareness.

Parts B and C – Based on candidates’ chosen subjects: Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

Additional Information – Part ‘A’ is common to all subjects.
