CBSE 2025 Board Exam Dates for Class 10th and 12th Announced | Check CBSE Class 10, 12 Date-Sheet

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results of classes 10th and 12th on May 13, 2024. Along with the results, CBSE also declared the exam dates for the 2025 session of board exams. CBSE class 12th exams were held between 15th February and April 2nd 2024 while the class 10th exam took place from 15th February to 13th March. The results were announced on May 13, 2024. With the results’ announcement, CBSE also released the date sheet for the session 2025 for classes 10th and 12th. The following table lists the class 10th and 12th exam dates over previous years.

When will CBSE Board exams 2025 begin?

After the announcement of CBSE board results 2024 the agency released the date sheet for next year’s board examinations. CBSE has notified that the board exams for classes 10th and 12th will start on February 15, 2025. With this students should plan their strategies for preparation accordingly. CBSE concluded the examination in March month and announced the results recently in May.

CBSE on Two Board Exam Format

The Central Board of Secondary Education announced to conduct the board exams twice from the 2024-25 session. However CBSE has not made any further announcement regarding this matter. It is speculated that the authority will soon release information about it clearing all the doubts among students. Students want to know whether it will be compulsory or optional to sit in both exams. CBSE is going to take this step according to the New Educational Policy. 

 

Change In CBSE Board Exam Pattern 2025

The Central Board of Secondary Education has changed the exam pattern for class 12 exams recently. In the latest update, CBSE notified that in the paper of class 12th exams, there will be more competency-based questions. The number of construction-based questions will decrease by around 10 per cent in comparison with previous years.
