The registration process for the Holy Amarnath pilgrimage is starting from today. Dates are announced to begin the yatra. The annual pilgrimage will start from June 29 2024 and will conclude on 19th August 2024. Amarnath shrine is located in south Kashmir Himalayas which is 3,880 meters above the sea level. The information regarding advance registration process for the Holy Yatra was announced by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB).

Amarnath Yatra Registration process 2024

All pilgrims are informed that the registration process for Amarnath pilgrimage has been started from 15th April 2024. It is advisable to all pilgrims that for a hassle-free and smooth pilgrimage experience they should take care of registration and given guidelines by the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. All pilgrims must complete the registration process via deputed bank branches using biometric eKYC authentication in real time. The registration will be completed on a first come, first served basis. All Pilgrims are required to submit a valid Compulsory Health Certificate (CHS) released by an authorized doctor issued on or after 8yh April 2024. Also Aadhar or some other Government recognised identity card will have to be submitted by all travelers.   2. Now click on ‘Register’ on the homepage.
  3. Rete carefully all the do’s and don’t instructions before you proceed further.

  5. Now upload your valid photograph ID proof and medical certificate. 
  6. Now submit the registration form, download the confirmation page and take the print out of it. 
  7. Save this print out and keep it downloaded on your phone for future reference. 

 

Amarnath Yatra Registration Fee

The registration fee for Amarnath Yatra 2024 is 150 per person. After registration all passengers are required to collect the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) card from the deputed centers in Jammu and Kashmir division before starting the journey. All pilgrims should know that pilgrims are not allowed to enter the control gate at Domel/Chandanwadi without a valid RFID card. On the SASB website pilgrims can find the list of designated Bank branches, authorized doctors and medical institutions along with the CHC format.

Every year lakhs of pilgrims start their Amarnath Yatra to connect with lord and cleanse their souls. There are two routes for the pilgrims to start their spiritual journey in 2024 Amarnath Yatra. Or they can choose the shorter but steeper route which is 14 kms long called Baltal route in Ganderbal District.
