In the 2024 Udaipur Lok Sabha election, Manna Lal Rawat contested on behalf of the BJP. At the same time, Tarachand Meena stood for INC. Similarly, Prakash Chand was the candidate of BAP and Dalpat Ram Garasia fought for BSP. Major parties in Udaipur:
In 2024 Udaipur constituency experienced a political contest among four major parties.
The strongest among the four parties is the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP has been the dominating ruling party in the nation since 2014. It follows the politics of the right-wing and is well connected with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The second major party next to BJP is the Indian National Congress. Its foundation was laid on 28 December 1885. Under Gandhiji’s guidance, It became the principal leader of the Indian Independence movement after 1920.
Next to BJP and INC, the third major party of the Udaipur election was the Bharatiya Adivasi Party. Based in Rajasthan, Kantibhai Roat formed the party on 10 September 2023. It has blocked one seat in the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.
The last major party of the Udaipur general election is the Bahujan Samaj Party. It supports “bahujan”, which means scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and religious minorities.

Tarachand Meena was a contestant of the Indian National Congress. He is a retired IAS officer of Udaipur.
Prakash Chand was fighting for the Bharatiya Adivasi Party. He is into Agriculture. Educationally, he is 12th pass. Dalpat Ram Garasia represented the Bharatiya Samaj Party.

In the 2019 Udaipur general election, four major parties, BJP, INC, BTP (Bharatiya Tribal Party), and CPI ( Communist Party Of India) contested against one another. BJP won the chance by 59.92% votes and the voter turnout was 70.32%.
