- Step 1: Visit the official website of Passport Seva . If you have not registered then register yourself on the portal first.
- Step 2 : Once you have created your username and ID, login.
- Step 3 : Select “Apply for New Passport or Reissue Passport”. Fill the form given here and enter your information like your name, contact information etc.
- Step 4 : “Go to Saved or Submitted Apps” and select “Pay & Schedule an Appointment.”
- Step 5 : Online payment is required to book an appointment at the Passport Seva Kendra. Make payment by choosing from the payment options given below:
- Internet Banking (State Bank of India and other affiliated banks).
- Credit or debit card (Visa or MasterCard)
- SBI Bank Challan.
- Step 6 : Select Print Application Receipt and take a print out. It is not necessary to carry this receipt with you. On the day of the appointment, an SMS giving your reference number, appointment details and other information is sufficient.

- Download the e-form from the portal .
- Enter all the required information asked in it like type of application, your name, place of birth etc.
- Upload it during online application. After successful submission of application online, visit your nearest PSK with all original documents on the scheduled date.
