The sixth out of 10 forests on our list is a biosphere reserve that is designated by UNESCO in Nicaragua. It covers almost 8,500 square miles. It is estimated that 13% of the world’s specialists are found in the forest, and the indigenous people who live in the forest contribute a lot to it. Technically, the bosa biosphere is from six different forests. This is to be said to be the home of 20 separate communities of indigenous people.
7. Xishuangbanna Tropical Rainforest
This rainforest is spread on the land of China. Xishuangbanna rainforest is located in Yunnan Province of southern China. This rainforest has been recognised by the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1990.
In this tropical rainforest, 90% of the Chinese elephant and a large number of rare and endangered species are found in the area of 36 square miles of Xishuangbanna tropical forest.

The Daintree rainforest is also known as the oldest forest in the world. This forest is situated in Australia, and it is believed that it is 180 million years old. This Daintree forest is older than the Amazon forest, which is at the top of our list. The forest is spread over 643 square miles and contains all the species of butterflies in the country.
