It has been the strongest ruling political party since 2014. Bharatiya Janata Party follows right-wing politics. The second most powerful party is the Indian National Congress. It was founded on 28 December 1885. It is the first modern nationalist movement during the British Empire in Asia and Africa. 2019 Kota Lok Sabha election results:
In the 2019 general election in Kota, Om Birla, on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party, won by 58.52% votes; on the other side, Ramnaraian Meena from the Indian National Congress, was left behind by 38.07%, and Harish Kumar Lahri, the candidate of Bahujan Samaj Party lost it with 0.73% of votes.
