BJP that is the Bharatiya Janata party is a right winged party who’s core ideology is Hindutva or the Hindu nationalist ideology. The party was founded by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in 1951 and has been closely linked with the RSS that is the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since the beginning. Most of the veteran BJP leaders have also been the members of RSS. The party has been in power since 2014 under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi. The Bharatiya Janata party or BJP is also the biggest party in terms of representation. It is the major party in the Indian political spectrum.

 

Samajwadi Party or SP was founded by Mulayam Singh Yadav who was formerly a Janata dal politician. The party is based on socialist Ideology and is led by Akhilesh Yadav who’s the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh who was choosed to be the chief minister in 2017 during an emergency meeting. The party is mostly based in Uttar Pradesh but it is working to spread its influence in other places as well.
