Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Arun Sao won the 2019, Lok Sabha Election by receiving 634559 votes in total at a 55.5% winning party voting rate and an 11.8% winning margin. Candidate Pramod Dubey represented the National Congress Party and received 489664 votes in total and ran over by a difference of 35238 votes.
