  1. K. Suresh is contesting on behalf of the Indian National Congress. D. K. Suresh or Doddaalahalli Kempegowda Suresh, is a businessman and a farmer by profession. He was able to get his education up to higher secondary.
  2. N. Manjunath is contesting under the ticket of the Bharatiya Janata Party.  His full name is Cholenahalli Nanjappa Manjunath. He is a cardiologist by profession. He was also awarded the fourth highest civilian honor of the Padma Shri by the Government of India. He was also in the position of the president of the Indian College of Cardiology. The book “Biography of a Living Legend” is a biography of his life.


Hemavathi K is the representative of SUCI, Abhisekh K from UPP, and Muhamad Musadik Pasha From KRS. 


Bangalore Rural 2019 Lok Sabha election result



In the year 2019, the Indian National Congress won, with D. K. Suresh, being their representative. He defeated Ashwath Narayan Gowda of The Bharatiya Janata Party and earned 878,258 votes out of 16,22,824 turnout, which is 54.15%. The Indian National Congress has been winning in the Rural Bangalore Constituency since 2014.
