Lok Sabha Election Exit Poll Results 2024 Live Updates: Huge NDA Sweep Predicted By Exit Polls

The Exit Poll Results 2024 are in, and they paint a promising picture for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Five major exit polls have indicated a significant victory for the NDA, with projections ranging from 353 to 392 seats. These predictions come after a grueling six-week-long Lok Sabha election, the second longest in India’s electoral history.

Notably, the exit polls also forecast NDA’s dominance in key states like Karnataka and Maharashtra. However, they predict a challenging scenario for the Left-led alliance in Kerala.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP are poised to secure a third consecutive term, bolstered by their performance in the 2019 elections, where they clinched 303 seats, propelling the NDA’s tally to 352. In contrast, the Congress party, facing setbacks and defections, is part of the Opposition coalition INDIA, challenging the BJP’s stronghold.

With the BJP setting an ambitious target of 370 seats, aided by coalition partners, the stage is set for a keenly awaited outcome. The Lok Sabha comprises 543 seats, with 272 seats needed for a majority. All eyes are now on Tuesday, the day of the official election results announcement.
