The newly formed Union Government extended the last date to update Aadhaar Card details. New deadline is 14th September 2024 to update the Adhar via an online process. If your mobile phone number is registered with the Aadhar card, you can easily access many services related to the Aadhar OTP authentication. Aadhar card can be updated by visiting the Aadhar centre or using my Aadhar portal.  People can update their details for free till 14th September 2024 like personal address and other details on my Aadhaar portal. They have to upload scanned copies of original documents.

  • Now go through your identity profile and Aadhar details present on your screen
  • If the details displayed on the screen are correct you should click on ‘I verify that the details are correct’ tab.
  • If details are not correct then you can apply to change them.
  • On the drop-down menu select the identity document that you want to submit 
  • After it upload your identity document in the given format, size less than 2 MB; file format JPEG, PNG or PDF
  • After that choose the address documents from the drop-down menu that you want to submit 
  • Now upload your correct address documents in a given format size of less than 2 MB; file format JPEG, PNG or PDF
  • At last click on submit your consent. 

 

How to Change Your Aadhaar Photo?

  1. Visit the Website
    • Go to the official Aadhaar website: UIDAI.
  2. Open the Homepage
    • The main page of the website will appear on your screen.
  3. Download the Form
    • Find and download the Aadhaar enrolment form.
    • Print out the form.
  4. Fill Out the Form
    • Complete the form with all the necessary details.
  5. Visit the Aadhaar Centre
    • Go to your nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre or Aadhaar Sewa Kendra.
    • Submit your filled application form to the officials there.
  6. Provide Biometric Information
    • Give your biometric information (fingerprints and iris scan).
    • Officials will take a live photograph of you.
  7. Receive Acknowledgment
    • You will get an acknowledgement slip with an Update Request Number (URN).
    • Keep the URN safe to check the status of your update.
